CHRONOS has launched two new updates this week, releasing v9.0 for SOHO notes and SOHO Organizer. SOHO Notes – application notes, allows you to handle, store and share digital images, voice, video, web archives and PDFs. version 9.0 adds a widescreen view that represents the notes column in the style cascading, allowing users to quickly view your notes without having to open them.
Notes also adds the tag Explorer feature that quickly goes large stacks of notes for a particular product or related set of notes. Users choose certain tags, get instant results, limited to the selected tag. Repeating this process involving several tags quickly eliminates all but what the user needs. Bookmark links, called Bookmarklets are new, allowing one-click Add a bookmark or Web pages. Support for geographical location and advanced accounts are also onboard.
SOHO Organizer keeps track of the calendars, journals, contacts and tasks. The emerging CardDAV specification, the emerging CardDAV specification and CalDAV support offline mode allows you to share address books and synchronization with supported servers. Version 9 adds a one-step MobileMe calendar settings, just by signing in to your MobileMe account within SOHO Organizer. Smart groups for hierarchical contacts are new calendar groups, automatic postal code lookup, archives of events and comprehensive duplicate checker.
Both titles requires Mac OS X 9.5.8 or above. SOHO Organizer is 100 United States dollars for a single-user license $ 180 for a family, SOHO notes, spending $ 40 for a single user or $ 70 for the Family Pack.
