3D is the latest craze in gadgitdom – or, at least, that many tool makers — and seems to be that interested in Cupertino to get it. New patent says that explores Apple system for three-dimensional image with, hinting at future 3D iPhone.
The patent called "imaging systems and methods for using multiple image sensor system", a concept model description: using two or more cameras back on your handheld to allow multiple images from the same place to be taken simultaneously, and then recombine them in 3-d image of the same scene.
Apple's approach differs from the usual problem of stabs 3D, though. Patent application describes "a paradigm shift from an approach based on known programs. Noting that the current 3D imaging software must guess how stereo disparity compensation performance of 3D pictures, Apple will use a more accurate method, and device-dependent.
Exciting patent, allows the extrapolation of attention that Apple might be working on the idea of one is 3D, iPhone with free 3D viewing glasses like Nintendo 3DS. It's exciting to think about what Apple can do with 3D competition didn't think so far, but I think it's way out so far: now, battery life swaps for 3D hardware like Nintendo 3DS (which gets little 3.5 hours per charge) not included in the iPhone.
