Mac OS X version is not even two weeks old 10.6.7, Apple has released an update that patches the latest supplementary operating system. Patch fix problems encountered before late 2010 13-inch MacBook Air users who upon start iTunes experienced crashes leave their computers completely frozen and unresponsive.
I even see it myself before the problem disappeared mysteriously after forcing the machine to restart to turn it off and then on again. Since then I haven't had a problem, but some problem persists. Luckily Apple has reformed.
According to Apple:
This update addresses an issue that makes the system unresponsive when using iTunes. It is recommended for all users "13" MacBook Air (late 2010) running Mac OS X v10.6.7.
You can grab this update via "software update" on your Mac or download directly through this support page.
