There is a hard plastic piece which extends out from the back that your fingers can grip or rest on, but it also acts as a stand when you place the accessory down on any surface. You can enjoy a 360 degree rotation of the iPad when using HandStand simply by twisting the case.
The solid and durable case will protect your iPad even though you are less likely to drop it with the device secured in your hand. All of the spaces to accommodate iPad’s microphone, headphone jack, speaker, docking port, and rotation lock/mute switch are present as well as access to the volume controls and the on/off button.
HandStand is available in black or white and sold only through the company’s website for $49.99, recently reduced from $59.99. You can also now pre-order HandStand for iPad 2 for $39.99. It’s available this May in an additional color option, pink.
